This feeder is constructed of two shatterproof plastic containers.  The top feeder has a 9 oz. nectar capacity while the bottom feeder has a 17 oz. nectar capacity.  With so much nectar and 8 feeding ports, there is plenty of space for the hummingbirds that will be attracted to this creative feeder.

Important Feeder Care & Instructions:

Before you fill your top-fill feeder with nectar and each time you clean your feeder it is important to do the following in order to prevent the feeder from a possible leaking issue:

1. Remove Feeder Lid
2. Remove the O-ring (the rubber-type band located around the neck of the feeder opening - see photo).  The O-ring will be white, clear or red in color.
3. Lubricate the O-ring with common household vegetable oil, canola oil, etc. (this can be done by pouring a little oil on a paper towel and applying it to the O-ring or wetting your finger with vegetable oil and applying it to the O-ring).
4. Place the O-ring back on the feeder and secure the cap.
