As we mentioned above, bats get a bad rap. They eat over 3.000 to 7,000 insects every night. Thi “mini” bat house is hand constructed of eastern white pine, has a rough surface inside that allows bats to cling easily, and opens at the bottom so it need no cleaning and birds will not nest in it. This is the smaller size house yet holds 12-15 bats. Place it on a tree trunk about 12 feet or so above ground. Be sure no limbs cover it up so the bats have a straight flight out.
